Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy
1 Formation of Contract
By confirming a booking for services with Valet DR, whether verbally, in writing, or via our online booking system, the client enters into a binding contract for the supply of services. These terms form part of that contract and are deemed accepted upon confirmation of the booking.
2 Non-Refundable Booking Charge
Each confirmed booking is subject to a non-refundable booking charge, equivalent in value to a deposit as specified by Valet DR. This charge reflects administrative time and resource allocation and applies whether or not a deposit is paid at the time of booking.
3 Cancellation by the Client
Should the client wish to cancel a confirmed booking, the following charges shall apply, based on the proximity of the cancellation to the scheduled service date:
a. Cancellation made two or more calendar days before the scheduled date of the service: The non- refundable booking charge shall be retained. No further fees shall apply.
b. Cancellation made one calendar day before the scheduled service: The client shall be liable to pay 50% of the total agreed service fee (inclusive of the booking charge).
c. Cancellation made on the day of the scheduled service (including within two hours of the scheduled time, or failure to attend): The client shall be liable to pay 90% of the total agreed service fee (inclusive of the booking charge).
4 Method of Cancellation
All cancellations must be communicated directly to Valet DR by telephone, email, or through our official booking platform. The effective date and time of cancellation shall be when such notice is received and acknowledged by Valet DR.
5 Consumer Rights
By confirming a booking to be carried out on a date within 14 days of making the booking, the client expressly requests that the service commence during the statutory cancellation period. In doing so, and in accordance with Regulation 36(1)(a) of the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, the client acknowledges that their right to cancel without charge is waived once the service is due to be performed within that period.
6 Force Majeure
Valet DR shall not be held liable for any delay or failure to perform its obligations where such delay or failure arises from circumstances beyond its reasonable control. In exceptional circumstances (e.g. medical emergency, bereavement, extreme weather), Valet DR may, at its sole discretion, agree to waive or reduce cancellation charges.
By confirming a booking, the client agrees to be bound by the terms of this Cancellation Policy.
